The second lifetime achievement award was conferred to the first superstar of the Indian film industry who was catapulted to instant fame with his super hit Aradhana – Rajesh Khanna. He delivered Anand, Amar Prem, Safar, and Khamoshi to his audiences and charmed the screen for several decades. With a brief political stint to his credit, he proved his mettle in careers poles apart.
